Salt Lake City Stone Installation

We install and repair natural and manufactured stone accents on homes and businesses across Salt Lake County, Utah County, and Park City.

Full-Service Stone Work for Homes and Businesses

Stone accents add lasting curb appeal and hold up against Utah winters better than most other exterior finishes. We handle every part of the job, from the first measurement to the final grout line, on both interior and exterior surfaces.

Exterior stone veneer installation — natural and manufactured stone accents for entryways, columns, and full facades that hold color and shape through freeze-thaw cycles.

Interior stone accent walls and fireplace surrounds — fitted stonework for living rooms, basements, and entryways that adds texture without a full remodel.

Stone repair and re-pointing — we fix loose stones, cracked mortar joints, and water-damaged sections before small problems spread.

Stone and masonry maintenance — periodic sealing and joint inspection to keep stone surfaces watertight and looking new.

What a Stone Installation Project Includes

Every project starts with an on-site measurement and material selection, followed by a written estimate before any work begins. Installation includes surface prep, flashing and moisture barrier work where needed, and a final walk-through so you know exactly what was done.

Stone Materials and Maintenance Questions Answered

  • What's the difference between natural stone and manufactured stone veneer?

Natural stone is quarried rock cut into panels, offering unique texture and long-term durability. Manufactured stone veneer is a concrete-based product molded to look like real stone. It costs less and installs faster, but natural stone typically lasts longer and holds up better against repeated Utah freeze-thaw cycles.
  • How long does a stone accent wall take to install?

Most exterior stone accent projects, like an entryway or column wrap, take two to four days depending on the square footage and surface prep needed. Larger facades or interior fireplace surrounds can take a week or more. We give you a firm timeline after the on-site measurement.
  • Does stone veneer need regular maintenance?

Yes, but it's minimal. We recommend inspecting mortar joints once a year and resealing porous stone every two to three years to keep moisture out. Catching a cracked joint early prevents water from working behind the veneer and causing bigger repair costs later.
  • Can stone veneer be installed over existing siding?

In many cases, yes, as long as the wall can support the added weight and a proper moisture barrier is installed first. We check the wall structure during our on-site visit and tell you upfront if furring strips or additional bracing are needed before installation begins.
